Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held every Monday and Thursday evening upstairs at the St Annes Ex Servicemens Club, 22 Alexandra Rd, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1YE (unless specified in advance) at 7.30pm prompt.

If you are a member, we would encourage you to like our Facebook page ‘St Annes Musical Productions’ and join our private Facebook groups ‘StAMP Members’ & ‘StAMP Rehearsals’ to keep up to date with any changes to the rehearsal schedule.

Everyone who performs in an acting capacity must audition for the company. Company auditions will take place a few weeks in to rehearsals, but don’t worry, they aren’t anything to get nervous about! Auditions for principal / singing roles will take place at a set time during the rehearsal process.

After this point, principals can be called for rehearsals on a Monday evening. Sunday rehearsals may follow, usually in the month before the show. Some additional rehearsals may be required but these will be agreed in advance. A full rehearsal schedule will be issued by the Production Team.

If the rehearsal period falls over Christmas, rehearsals will finish for 2 weeks in December and resume in January.

We are always looking for members to join us, so if you know of anyone who would like to perform or help us backstage or front of house – please let us know. You don't even need experience, just the will to 'give it a go'!
